Design, build, and operate a spacecraft beyond Earth orbit. In three courses on Space Physics and Systems Course, 2.Coding for Space (C4S) Course, & 3. Satellite Build and Engineering, the online Program immerses participants in a research intensive course to build, assemble, test a 6U+ cubesat. Advance space systems, integration, microcontroller, and more. Learn physics of space, orbit maneuvering, Coding for Space, GNC, Microcontrollers, and more.The Course is designed to fit the schedule of young professionals and graduates but also open to scholars in Bachelors degree. Engage in discussions on applying to sensor fusion integration, experiments, software, & systems.

Curriculum Schedule

​Each of the three courses provides up to 15 hours of live synchronous instruction with 75%  live interactive class and 25% discussion/build. The Course is designed to fit the schedule of young professionals,graduates, and upperclass undergraduates. ​​​​

Course 1: Space Physics and Systems (SPS-522), Jan 12 -26

Apply leading theories and data on space physics environment on astrophysics, electromagnetism,  spacecraft operations, & applied math. Dive into Orbit Maneuvering, TT&C, Guidance Navigation & Control (GNC), Design & Build of Microcontroller FPGAs and COTS systems, and more.

Course 2: Coding for Space (C4S), Feb 2 - 16

Learn about the past, present and future of programming for spacecraft and systems with a view to help develop future space-related projects. Learn about Programming languages,algorithms,  systems motherboard, CPU, hardware and more.

Course 3: Satellite Build and Engineering (SBE), Feb  16 - 22 (Online) / March 2025 (Inperson)

The inperson course immerses participants to build, assemble, test a 6U+ cubesat at a convenient location in the United States, likely either DC or San Francisco in February-March 2025. Advance space systems, integration, microcontroller, and more.
