Story
Since 1950's, humanity has made incredible progress exploring space and Solar system. With NASA Artemis Moon to Mars Program and many leaders, nearby habitable worlds provide a path toward sustaining future humans and life with bountiful resources. Venus also has similar mass and gravity (8.87 m/s² or 90.5% of 1G), with similar climate in clouds.
Founded in 2019, MultiPlanet University (MPU) is an international research and nonprofit organization. MPU is a student-lead, member-based U.S. nonprofit guided by the team,Members, and Board of Trustees. The organization does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, & disability in any of its activities. MPU has an emphasis on applied research, programs, and expeditions providing hands on research experiences.
Challenges
Discovering, navigating, and sustaining systems in-space, on planets and in habitable environments requires significant research, time, and resources in advance. Nearby worlds could also provide a second biosphere, overcome global catastrophes, and sustain the kingdoms of life.
