Apply Software Engineering and Operations to R&D Project to advance several sensors and systems. Curriculum Schedule

​The Certificate course provides up to 5-10 hours per week of live synchronous instruction with 75/25 Lectures/Labs(research).  With 10+ guest lecturers and instructors, the Course is designed to fit the schedule of young professionals and full-time students. Attendance for most discussions and lectures is mandatory to receive Certificate.​​​​​​​​

Prerequisites

Prior experience with C/C++, Python or other Program is recommended but not required. Alpha & Beta Software Tests challenge and test ability to develop and integrate sensor systems with microcontrollers and IDE interface. Through assignments an ddiscussions, you participate in code software debugging and maintenance, and covariance analysis testing. Note: this course is 3CR graduate course credited toward a Master's in Space Physics & Engineering (MSc/MEng).

 Payload Launch and Details

We encourage you to participate inperson for 2-3 days for launch of Payload in Winter/Spring 2026. Get hands on experience with launch, software, mission operations with R&D science goals.  Validate PCB Boards, 5+ Sensors, IMUs, code, data analysis with mission partners. Costs associated with launch, lodging and day to day expenses may be covered to participate.
